Do you own, or wish to buy or lease, a piece of property that may have contamination issues such as asbestos, fuel spill, old drums/tanks on site?   Or, is the site abandoned and/or obsolete?

If so, you may be eligible for assistance through the Leelanau County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (LCBRA) to conduct environmental assessment of the property and determine if contamination does exist.

The LCBRA has funds from the U.S. EPA to assist on properties where these concerns are creating problems for resale/redevelopment.

For more information and to apply for these funds, call 231-256-9812.
