Mattress Recycling & Tire Recycling - JUNE 24 - LIMITED SPACE
Leelanau County will host a Scrap Tire collection event and for the first time - a Mattress Recycling collection event on Friday, June 24 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm at Glen Lake school parking lot.
APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED. WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING APPOINTMENTS FOR MATTRESSES. We have room for about 700 more tires.
Tires - $1.00 each. $5.00/large tires. No tires taller than 48" or wider than 15". Rims are acceptable.
Mattresses – $5.00 each. Twin, double, queen, king, mattress toppers, crib, and foam mattresses. Mattresses must be DRY.
LIMIT OF 4 Mattresses PER APPOINTMENT.
Fees must be prepaid by NOON on June 23 for tires and mattresses and fees are non-refundable.

Appointment slots are limited.
This event is partially supported through 2% allocation funds from the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, and scrap tire recycling grant from EGLE.
