FULL - The first Leelanau County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronics collection for 2020 on June 20 is COMPLETELY FULL.   

Appointments are required for all collections. We are accepting appointments for the September 12 and October 3 HHW and Electronics collections.  Appointments are required for ALL collections.  Please call the Planning & Community Development office at 231-256-9812 or email:  planning@co.leelanau.mi.us for an appointment.  Collections are for Leelanau County households ONLY.

The Leelanau County Government Center Offices have officially reopened to the public on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

You will be required to wear a mask upon entering the building and social distancing rules will be in effect until further notice.

Marian Kromkowski has issued a "Phase One Plan", which focuses on the obligations to protect the health of litigants, judicial branch employees, and the public, while still providing essential services.
