Notice to the Public

PUBLIC HEARING and 30-DAY DRAFT PLAN NOTICE

The Solon Township Board has scheduled a PUBIC HEARING for Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 7:30 pm at the Solon Township Hall, 9191 S. Kasson St., Cedar, MI to receive public comment on the proposed 5-Year Parks & Recreation Plan.  

A draft copy of the Solon Township 2022-2026 Five Year Park & Recreation Plan will be available for review and public comment for a period of 30 days beginning November 18, 2022. The 5-Year Parks and Recreation Plan can be viewed on the township website at www.leelanau.gov/solontwp.asp or is available upon request by contacting the Township Clerk @ 231-228-7578. Written comments may be sent to Solon Township P.O. Box 253 Cedar, MI  49621, emailed to sidmikowski@hotmail.com or FAX to (231) 228-7579.

All feedback will be used to finalize the 5-Year Park & Recreation Plan which will be presented at the Public Hearing on January 13, 2022.

Solon Township will provide necessary and/or reasonable auxiliary aides and services for the hearing impaired and other persons with disabilities upon seven (7) days notice to the Solon Township Clerk, P.O. Box 253, Cedar, MI 49621 or call (231) 228-7578.
