Kick-off of ‘Leelanau Native Plants Initiative’

Leelanau County high school students have spent the winter learning about losses in our avian and pollinator populations. They will present suggestions how we can all become involved in solutions to reverse declines in our bird and pollinator populations. 

(Presentations by students from Leland High School and Glen Lake High School).

Includes short presentations by Katie Grzesiak, Invasive Species Coordinator and Kay Charter, Executive Director of Saving birds Thru Habitat (SBTH).  

FREE.  Everyone Welcome.  (Bring a sack lunch)

The deadline for purchasing a brick prior to the Memorial Day Ceremony to be held on Monday, May 28, 2018, is Thursday, Thursday, April 12, 2018.

The deadline for inclusion on the Wall of Honor prior to the Memorial Day Ceremony to be held on Monday, May 28, 2018, is Thursday, April 26, 2018.

The Leelanau County Administrator's Office is accepting applications from County Veterans for this season's Honor Flight. Preference will be given to Veterans of World War II, the Korean Conflict and potentially the Vietnam War.
