The Suttons Bay Township Planning Commission meeting scheduled for October 6, 2020 at 6pm has been postponed to Oct 20 at 6pm. This is a direct result of Covid-19 and the actions that happened in the wake of the Michigan Supreme Court decision that was made public on Friday Oct 2. Because this situation is changing rapidly and it is out of our control, we are unable to state if Oct 20 will be an in-person meeting and the location of such a meeting or if it will be a remote or telecommunications type meeting available by computer link or telephone. The Planning Commission will receive public comment on a proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance.
An amendment to the Suttons Bay Township Zoning Ordinance Article 4 Agricultural District, a new Section P is proposed to allow Seasonal Outdoor Mazes as a Special Land Use, with conditions, in the Agricultural District, with conditions.
